About

A festival run by Songpa-gu about the Hanseong era of the Baekje dynasty, when its capital was in what is now Seoul. Korea Tourism Organization says it is held around the Mongchontoseong Fortress area, a remnant of the Baekje capital. It has folk performances, musicals, family concerts and food.

The 2026 festival is the 26th. It runs Oct 23–25 on the 88 Lawn Madang in Olympic Park. It opens on Oct 23 at 19:00 with a drone show and an opening concert. A musical gala is on Oct 24 at 11:00, and the closing Hanseong Culture Concert is on Oct 25 with Korean traditional music and K-pop acts.

In 2025 the festival moved from Peace Plaza to the 88 Lawn Madang. The 2026 main stage is 60 m long, the largest so far. There are about 20 hands-on programs over the three days, such as Baekje costumes and crafts. A food market has 17 groups.
