How we calculate
- Subway: distance between stations from the Seoul Metro station-distance file, then the table above.
- Taxi: we show a range. The low end uses the route as given. The high end adds 10% distance and extra slow-traffic time for detours and jams. Results round to the nearest ₩100, like a meter.
- Walking: 75 m per minute. Walking is the default when the place is 1.5 km or closer.
- Route times come from Kakao Maps when you set a starting point. If the daily free limit is reached we switch to straight-line estimates, marked as estimates.
Exchange rates
Other currencies use the Korea Eximbank daily rate, published on business days around 11:00 KST (weekends and early mornings show the previous business day). We show the date next to the rate and cache it for up to 6 hours. See Sources.
Limits
- All fares are estimates, not quotes. The taxi meter and the operator's own fare apply.
- Taxi estimates do not include tolls, call fees or out-of-city surcharges.
- Fares are for adults paying with a transit card. Cash, children and discounts differ.
- Promotional fares (such as the AREX express discount) can end without notice.
- Exchange rates are daily reference rates, not what your card or exchange booth charges.
