About
A night of fireworks over the Han River at Yeouido Hangang Park. The Hanwha Group has run it as a social contribution project since 2000.
Teams from three countries, including Korea (Hanwha), the US and the UK, took part in 2026. In 2026 Hanwha moved the festival from late September to early September. It gave the Chuseok holiday and demand from foreign visitors as the reasons.
Good to know
- The date moves from year to year: 2025 was Sep 27 and 2026 was Sep 5. Check the date before you book flights.
- For the 2026 festival Hanwha planned about 4,700 safety and crowd-control staff, the most so far.
- Yeouinaru Station (Line 5) Exit 2 or 3 is about a 1-minute walk to the center of the park. Yeouido Station Exit 1 is about 15–20 minutes on foot.
